2. In a large bowl, toss the squash slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme.
3. Arrange the slices in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
4. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan evenly over each squash slice.
5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the squash is tender and the Parmesan is golden and crispy.
6. If desired, broil for an additional 1–2 minutes to deepen the crust, watching closely to prevent burning.
7. Let cool slightly, then transfer to a serving platter and garnish with parsley or a squeeze of lemon.
8. Serve warm alongside your favorite main dishes.
