1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
2. In a bowl toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated
3. Spread the sprouts in a single layer on the prepared sheet and scatter bacon pieces among them
4. Roast for 20 minutes, then stir and continue roasting for 10–15 minutes until sprouts are golden and bacon is crisp
5. Meanwhile, combine balsamic vinegar and maple syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat
6. Simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the glaze reduces and thickens
7. Remove sprouts and bacon from the oven and transfer to a serving bowl or leave on the baking sheet
8. Drizzle the warm balsamic-maple glaze over the sprouts and bacon and toss to coat or drizzle decoratively
9. Serve immediately while warm
