4. Set up three bowls: flour, beaten eggs, breadcrumbs.
5. Dredge each bat shape in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
6. For baking, preheat oven to 400°F and spray nuggets with oil; bake 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway.
7. For frying, heat 1 inch of oil over medium heat and fry 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
8. For air frying, preheat to 375°F, spray nuggets, and cook 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.
9. Let rest 1 minute, then serve with festive dipping sauces and sides.
