1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season with paprika garlic powder chili powder salt and pepper
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat and sear chicken 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden then remove
3. Reduce heat to medium add garlic and sauté until fragrant
4. Pour in chicken broth and scrape browned bits from skillet
5. Whisk in softened cream cheese until smooth then stir in shredded Monterey Jack cheese
6. Return chicken to skillet nestle into sauce cover and simmer on low until chicken reaches 165°F about 10 to 12 minutes
7. Stir in lime juice and green chilies if using and simmer one minute
8. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot
