  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup broccoli or cauliflower florets, chopped
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed crackers or breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups frozen tater tots (optional)
  • 2 cups cooked rice (optional)

  • Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

    2. In a large bowl, stir together ranch dressing, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.

    3. Add chicken, bacon, and broccoli or cauliflower to the bowl and fold until evenly coated.

    4. Spread half of the mixture in the prepared dish and sprinkle with half of the cheddar cheese.

    5. Top with the remaining chicken mixture and then the rest of the cheese.

    6. For tator tot variation, arrange frozen tater tots on top. For rice variation, sprinkle cooked rice and crushed crackers or breadcrumbs over cheese.

    7. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and edges are golden.

    8. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving to allow layers to set.
