Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

  • Instructions

    1. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat.

    2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning and sear for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through, then transfer to a plate.

    3. Add remaining butter to the skillet, reduce heat to medium-low, and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

    4. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits, then stir in heavy cream and Parmesan and simmer for 3–4 minutes until sauce thickens.

    5. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over each piece, and simmer for 2–3 minutes until fully coated.

    6. Garnish with chopped parsley and adjust salt and pepper before serving.
