These crispy honey garlic chicken thighs are made quickly in the air fryer for a sweet, savory, and crunchy weeknight meal the whole family will love.


Ingredients

  • 6 bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes optional

  • Instructions

    1. Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels

    2. In a bowl whisk honey soy sauce minced garlic olive oil vinegar salt and pepper

    3. Marinate chicken in the glaze for at least 15 minutes

    4. Preheat air fryer to 380°F for 3 to 5 minutes

    5. Arrange thighs skin-side down in a single layer in the air fryer basket

    6. Cook at 380°F for 12 minutes then flip thighs

    7. Continue cooking for 10 to 12 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F

    8. In a small saucepan simmer reserved glaze for 3 minutes until slightly thickened

    9. Brush cooked thighs with the warm glaze

    10. Return thighs to air fryer at 380°F for 1 to 2 minutes to caramelize

    11. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving
