2. Melt white chocolate melts and vegetable shortening in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
3. Hold each pretzel rod by the uncoated end and dip two-thirds into the melted chocolate, twirling to coat evenly and allowing excess to drip off.
4. Place coated pretzels on the prepared tray and use the back of a spoon to pull chocolate upward for a ghostly shape if desired.
5. Press two candy eyes onto each pretzel while the chocolate is still soft.
