Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat
2. Add onion and sauté until translucent about 5 minutes
3. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant
4. Add cumin turmeric paprika and cinnamon and toast 30 seconds
5. Add sweet potato carrots bell pepper and stir to coat
6. Stir in red lentils
7. Pour in broth and bring to a boil
8. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered for 20–25 minutes
9. Season with salt pepper and stir in lemon juice
10. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot
