1. Slice the bell peppers and onion into 1/2 inch strips.
2. Add half of the sliced peppers and onions to the bottom of the crockpot.
3. Place the sausage links on top of the vegetables.
4. Top with the remaining peppers and onions and pour the marinara sauce over everything.
5. Sprinkle italian seasoning, garlic, salt, and pepper evenly over the mixture.
6. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
7. Stir gently before serving and adjust seasoning if needed.
