Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water

  • Instructions

    1. Place chicken in the crockpot without cutting.

    2. In a bowl whisk soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar.

    3. Pour sauce over chicken and cover.

    4. Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.

    5. Remove chicken and mix cornstarch with water.

    6. Stir cornstarch slurry into crockpot and cook on high for 5–10 minutes to thicken.

    7. Return chicken to sauce and coat.

    8. Shred or slice chicken and serve.
