  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk or cream
  • 1 cup diced potatoes
  • 1.5 cups mixed vegetables (peas carrots corn)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 pie crusts
  • 1 egg and 1 tablespoon water (optional egg wash)

  • Instructions

    1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat and cook onion until translucent.

    2. Add diced potatoes and mixed vegetables and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes.
