1. preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 inch casserole dish
2. spread the turkey evenly in the bottom of the dish and drizzle with half the gravy and cream
3. scatter mixed vegetables over the turkey layer
4. spread stuffing evenly over the vegetables
5. top with mashed potatoes and smooth into an even layer
6. sprinkle shredded cheese over the potatoes and dot with melted butter
7. if using, spoon cranberry sauce around the edges
8. cover loosely with foil and bake for 25 minutes
9. remove foil and bake for 10 to 15 minutes more until the top is golden and bubbly
10. let rest for 5 minutes, sprinkle with parsley, and serve warm
