Description

A creamy, spiced pumpkin hummus perfect for fall gatherings and Halloween-themed charcuterie boards. Blended chickpeas and pumpkin puree combine with warm autumn spices for a festive dip.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
  • Paprika for garnish

  • Instructions

    1. Add chickpeas, pumpkin puree, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, cinnamon, and salt to a food processor.

    2. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.

    3. With the processor running, slowly drizzle in 2 tablespoons olive oil until fully incorporated.

    4. Transfer hummus to a serving bowl and drizzle with a little extra olive oil.

    5. Sprinkle paprika over the top for garnish.

    6. Serve with pita chips, crackers, or vegetable sticks on a charcuterie board.
