12 green gummy candies or candy leaves for stems

Instructions

1. Slice each donut by cutting a small wedge from the top to mimic an apple slice.

2. Spread red or green icing evenly over each donut surface.

3. Press assorted candies into the icing to create the appearance of apple seeds.

4. Drizzle caramel or chocolate syrup over the donuts if desired for extra flavor.

5. Place a green gummy candy or candy leaf at the top of each slice to serve as the apple stem.

6. Allow the decorated donuts to set for 5 minutes on a cooling rack before serving.
