  • 34 garlic cloves, minced

  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)

  • Instructions

    1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

    2. Blanch green beans for 2–3 minutes until bright green.

    3. Transfer beans to an ice water bath for 1 minute, then drain and pat dry.

    4. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.

    5. Add minced garlic and cook for 30–45 seconds until fragrant.

    6. Add green beans and toss to coat in garlic butter.

    7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    8. Stir in lemon juice if using.
