3. Fill each cavity with about 1 tablespoon of jam, letting it slightly overflow.
4. Replace the removed cupcake top and press gently to seal.
5. Divide buttercream into two bowls; tint one portion black and the other deep red.
6. Fit piping bags with star tips and fill one with black frosting, one with red.
7. Pipe swirls of frosting on each cupcake, alternating colors as desired.
8. Insert a candy fang into the frosting of each cupcake.
9. Drizzle a thin line of red gel over the frosting to simulate dripping blood.
10. Sprinkle Halloween-themed sprinkles around each cupcake for final decoration.
