Playfully spooky cheeseburger skulls nestled in black-tinted Halloween buns, perfect for a festive family dinner or party.


Ingredients

  • lbs ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 Halloween buns (dyed or store-bought)
  • ¼ cup ketchup or BBQ sauce
  • Cooking spray or oil for molds
  • Sesame seeds, edible paint, food coloring for decoration (optional)

  • Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

    2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce until just combined.

    3. Grease silicone skull molds lightly with cooking spray or oil.

    4. Press beef mixture into each mold halfway, add cheese, then cover with remaining beef and smooth tops.

    5. Bake molds on a baking sheet for 25–30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

    6. Let skulls rest 5 minutes, then carefully remove from molds.

    7. If desired, brush buns with black or orange food coloring and lightly toast.

    8. Place one cheeseburger skull in each bun, drizzle with ketchup or BBQ sauce, and add decorations like sesame seed eyes or edible paint.

    9. Serve immediately with your favorite spooky sides.
