Halloween Eyeball Skewers – Salami & Mozzarella Party Bites

Description

Festive and spooky appetizer skewers made with mozzarella balls, thin salami, and olive “pupils,” perfect for Halloween parties and potlucks.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 mini mozzarella balls
  • 10 slices thin salami
  • 10 black or green olives, halved
  • 10 fresh basil leaves (optional)
  • wooden skewers or bamboo picks
  • balsamic glaze for drizzle (optional)

  • Instructions

    1. Drain and pat dry the mozzarella balls with a paper towel.

    2. Slice each olive in half to create “pupils.”

    3. Wrap one slice of salami around each mozzarella ball to mimic veins.

    4. Place an olive half, cut side down, on top of each wrapped mozzarella ball.

    5. Thread each eyeball onto a skewer, adding a basil leaf between every two balls if desired.

    6. Arrange skewers on a serving platter.

    7. Drizzle with balsamic glaze for a “bloody” effect just before serving (optional).
