Halloween Spider Burger Dinner with Fries and Decor

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: Serves 4

Description

A fun and spooky burger dinner featuring homemade spider-shaped burgers with pretzel or fry legs, olive eyes, and ketchup “blood,” served with crispy fries and themed decor for a memorable Halloween meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 4 burger buns (brioche or seeded)
  • 12 pretzel sticks or straight-cut fries
  • 8 black olives, sliced
  • 4 slices cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 4 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 lb fries (waffle, curly, or sweet potato)
  • Optional: veggie patties for vegetarian option
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Instructions

    1. Season the ground beef or turkey with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then form into four round patties.

    2. Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and cook the patties 4–5 minutes per side or until done to your preference.

    3. Lightly toast the burger buns and set aside.

    4. Insert 3 pretzel sticks or fries into each side of the bottom bun to create spider legs.

    5. Place a cooked patty on each bottom bun and top with a cheese slice.

    6. Use sliced olives on toothpicks to secure two “eyes” on each top bun and position it over the patty.

    7. Drizzle ketchup around the burger for a “blood” effect and add mustard or mayonnaise in cobweb patterns if desired.

    8. Bake or fry the remaining fries according to package instructions.

    9. Arrange the assembled spider burgers on a serving board, surround with fries, and garnish with Halloween-themed decor before serving.
