  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

  • Instructions

    1. pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper

    2. in a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add minced garlic

    3. sauté garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant

    4. add shrimp in a single layer and cook 1 to 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque

    5. stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, and red pepper flakes and toss to coat

    6. remove from heat and sprinkle with parsley

    7. serve immediately with lemon wedges
