Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup light cream or milk
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley chopped for garnish

  • Instructions

    1. Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt pepper and thyme

    2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat

    3. Add chicken and cook 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through

    4. Remove chicken and set aside

    5. Add garlic to the same skillet and sauté 30 seconds

    6. Whisk in chicken broth cream and flour until smooth

    7. Return chicken to skillet and simmer 2 minutes while spooning sauce over top

    8. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately
