A cozy, high protein chocolate smoothie that blends the comfort of hot cocoa with the nutrition of a breakfast shake. Ready in minutes, it fuels your morning with lasting energy and rich chocolate flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (25–30g)
  • 1 cup milk or non-dairy milk
  • ½ medium banana
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt
  • 12 teaspoons honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 34 ice cubes (optional)
  • splash of hot water (for hot version)

  • Instructions

    1. Warm the milk gently until steamy but not boiling (hot version only)

    2. Combine cocoa powder and hot water and blend briefly to dissolve

    3. Add protein powder, banana, yogurt, vanilla, salt, sweetener and milk to blender

    4. Blend on medium-high until creamy and frothy

    5. Adjust sweetness or thickness with more honey, cocoa, or milk as desired

    6. For cold version add ice and blend until smooth

    7. Serve warm in a mug or chilled in a glass
