  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • Instructions

    2. Trim the stem ends of the Brussels sprouts, remove any loose leaves and halve each sprout

    3. Toss sprouts in a bowl with olive oil, salt and pepper until evenly coated

    4. Arrange sprouts cut side down on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer without crowding

    5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until edges are golden and crispy

    6. While sprouts bake, warm hot honey, soy sauce and minced garlic in a small saucepan over low heat for 1 to 2 minutes without boiling

    7. Remove baked sprouts from oven and let rest for one minute to release steam

    8. Drizzle warm glaze over sprouts and toss gently to coat

    9. Sprinkle with optional crushed red pepper, sesame seeds or grated Parmesan before serving
