Description
This one-pan recipe features tender chicken cubes seared in garlic butter and tossed with crisp-tender asparagus for a quick low-carb dinner. It’s high in protein, rich in flavor, and ready in under 30 minutes.

1. Preheat a nonstick or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
2. Lower heat slightly, add butter and swirl until fully melted.
3. Add chicken cubes in a single layer and cook undisturbed for 2–3 minutes until golden.
4. Season with salt, pepper and optional spices and flip pieces to sear the other side for 2–3 minutes.
5. Remove chicken and set aside, leaving brown bits in the pan.
6. Add minced garlic to the pan over medium heat and stir for 20–30 seconds until fragrant.
7. Add asparagus, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 4–5 minutes until crisp-tender.
8. If needed, deglaze with a splash of water or lemon juice to release fond from the pan.
9. Return chicken to the skillet and toss with asparagus and garlic butter until evenly coated.
10. Adjust seasoning and serve immediately, optionally with cauliflower rice or a green salad.
