1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Sear chicken breasts for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown then remove from skillet.
4. Add garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
5. Stir in cherry tomatoes and cook until they begin to blister, about 3–4 minutes.
6. Pour in dry pasta and chicken broth, stir to combine, and cover the skillet.
7. Simmer for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente.
8. Return seared chicken to the skillet and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
9. Simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
10. Remove from heat, scatter mozzarella balls over the top, and cover for 2 minutes.
11. Garnish with torn basil leaves and adjust seasoning before serving.
