Ingredients

  • 2 cups dairy free yogurt (coconut, almond, or oat)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/4 cup crushed candy canes
  • 1/2 cup melted dairy free dark chocolate
  • pinch of sea salt (optional)

  • Instructions

    1. In a bowl mix yogurt, maple syrup, and peppermint extract until smooth.

    2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread yogurt mixture to 1/2 inch thickness.

    3. Sprinkle crushed candy canes evenly over the yogurt base and gently press them in.

    4. Melt dairy free dark chocolate and drizzle over the top in zigzag patterns.

    5. Sprinkle a light pinch of sea salt if desired.

    6. Freeze the tray for 2 to 3 hours until completely solid.

    7. Remove from freezer, let sit 2 minutes, then break into pieces.
