Description

These no-bake Peppermint Chocolate Protein Bites combine chocolate protein powder, oats, and peppermint for a festive, healthy snack. They require minimal prep and offer a guilt-free holiday treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2 tbsp crushed candy canes
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 12 tbsp almond milk
  • pinch of sea salt

  • Instructions

    1. whisk together rolled oats protein powder cocoa powder and salt in a large bowl

    2. stir in almond butter honey or maple syrup and peppermint extract until a uniform dough forms adding almond milk as needed

    3. fold in mini chocolate chips and half of the crushed candy canes

    4. scoop tablespoon portions and roll into balls to make about 16-20 bites

    5. roll each ball in remaining crushed candy canes or cocoa powder then place on parchment-lined tray

    6. refrigerate for 20-30 minutes until firm before serving
