Description

These no-bake peppermint chocolate protein bites combine oats, protein powder, nut butter, and festive peppermint for a healthy holiday snack. Ready in under an hour, they offer a balanced mix of flavor and nutrition.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2 cup natural nut butter
  • 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp crushed candy canes
  • 12 tbsp milk or water (optional)

  • Instructions

    1. Combine rolled oats, protein powder, and cocoa powder in a large bowl.

    2. Add nut butter, honey, and peppermint extract and mix until a dough forms.

    3. If too dry, add milk or water one tablespoon at a time until pliable.

    4. Fold in chocolate chips and crushed candy canes.

    5. Portion dough into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray.

    6. Chill in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes until firm.

    7. Optional: drizzle melted dark chocolate over bites and sprinkle extra candy cane before the drizzle sets.

    8. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week or freeze up to two months.
