1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a 10×15-inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, beat spice cake mix, eggs, pumpkin puree, water, oil, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth.
3. Pour batter into pan and bake 12–15 minutes until top springs back.
4. Dust a clean towel with powdered sugar and invert warm cake onto it, peel off parchment.
5. Roll cake and towel together from short end; let cool completely.
6. Beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt until fluffy.
7. Unroll cooled cake, spread filling evenly, then re-roll gently without the towel.
8. Wrap roll in plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
9. Slice and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
