Description

These flavorful chicken sliders feature tender bite-sized chicken tossed in a creamy, spicy bang bang sauce and served on soft slider buns. Ready in just 30 minutes, they’re perfect for busy weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch or all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or neutral cooking oil
  • 8 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls or mini brioche)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce or cabbage slaw
  • ½ cup sliced pickles or cucumbers (optional)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 12 tsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp honey

  • Instructions

    1. Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and garlic powder; toss in cornstarch or flour until lightly coated.

    2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook chicken for 5–7 minutes, stirring, until golden and cooked through. Remove from heat.

    3. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey until smooth.

    4. Slice slider buns and lightly toast if desired.

    5. Spread a spoonful of bang bang sauce on the bottom half of each bun.

    6. Top with lettuce or slaw, cooked chicken pieces, extra sauce, and pickles or cucumbers if using.

    7. Close sliders with the top buns and serve immediately, with extra sauce on the side.
