2. Slice squash into ¼-inch thick rounds and transfer to a large bowl.
3. Drizzle olive oil over squash slices, then sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper; toss to coat evenly.
4. Arrange slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they do not overlap.
5. Sprinkle a generous layer of grated Parmesan over each squash round.
6. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until squash is tender and cheese is golden and crispy.
7. (Optional) Broil on high for 1–2 minutes to achieve extra browning.
