1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl combine oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
3. Stir in melted butter or coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla until the mixture is crumbly and holds together.
4. Press two thirds of the oat mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
5. In a separate bowl lightly mash the raspberries and spread them evenly over the oat crust.
6. Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the raspberry layer.
7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling.
8. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before lifting out and slicing into bars.
