  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for rolling

    1. Beat softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla until smooth, then freeze small portions for 30 minutes.

    2. In a bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, oil, and 1 teaspoon vanilla until thick dough forms; add flour if too sticky.

    3. Refrigerate dough for 20–30 minutes.

    4. Flatten dough portions, place frozen cream cheese in center, wrap dough around filling, and roll into balls.

    5. Roll each ball in 1/2 cup powdered sugar until fully coated.

    6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes until crinkles form.
