  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop chocolate vegan protein powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp nut butter (optional)
  • fresh berries for topping
  • shredded coconut for topping

  • Instructions

    1. whisk chia seeds cocoa powder and protein powder in a bowl

    2. pour in almond milk maple syrup vanilla and salt and whisk until smooth

    3. let rest for 5 minutes then whisk again to prevent clumps

    4. cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight

    5. stir and adjust thickness with extra milk or chia seeds as needed

    6. serve topped with berries coconut or nut butter
