1. lightly grease the slow cooker insert
2. mix melted butter, garlic, thyme, paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice
3. optional sear turkey in olive oil 2-3 minutes per side
4. place turkey in slow cooker and pour garlic butter mixture over top
5. add chicken broth around turkey
6. cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 2.5-3 hours until internal temperature reaches 165°F
7. rest turkey for 10 minutes before slicing
8. serve with garlic butter sauce spooned over slices
