This easy slow cooker garlic butter turkey loin is tender, juicy, and perfect for weeknight dinners or holiday meals. Simply season, set, and let the crockpot do the work for a flavorful, effortless main dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 to 2.5 lbs turkey loin, trimmed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)

  • Instructions

    1. lightly grease the slow cooker insert

    2. mix melted butter, garlic, thyme, paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice

    3. optional sear turkey in olive oil 2-3 minutes per side

    4. place turkey in slow cooker and pour garlic butter mixture over top

    5. add chicken broth around turkey

    6. cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 2.5-3 hours until internal temperature reaches 165°F

    7. rest turkey for 10 minutes before slicing

    8. serve with garlic butter sauce spooned over slices
