Description

This slow cooker turkey breast and gravy delivers tender, flavorful turkey infused with herbs and rich homemade gravy, perfect for a stress-free holiday or cozy family dinner.

  • 34 lbs turkey breast
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 34 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • Instructions

    1. Pat the turkey breast dry and rub with butter, salt, pepper, garlic, thyme, rosemary, onion powder, and paprika

    2. Pour chicken broth into the slow cooker and layer minced garlic on the bottom

    3. Place seasoned turkey breast in the slow cooker skin side up and cover

    4. Cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3½–4 hours until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C)

    5. Remove turkey to a cutting board and tent with foil to rest

    6. Whisk cornstarch with cold water to make a slurry and stir into the cooking liquid

    7. Turn slow cooker to high and cook uncovered for 10–15 minutes until gravy thickens

    8. Slice the turkey and spoon gravy over the top, then garnish with chopped parsley
