Spider Burger with Fries (Halloween Burger)

Description

A playful Halloween burger shaped like a spider, with crisp fries for legs and olive eyes. Easy, kid-friendly, and party-ready in about 35 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef or plant-based mince
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 16 oz (450 g) frozen French fries
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 tomato slices
  • 48 pickle slices
  • 4 onion rings (optional)
  • Ketchup, to taste
  • Mustard or burger sauce, to taste
  • 4 pitted black olives, halved (for eyes)

  • Instructions

    1. Preheat oven and bake fries per package directions until golden and crisp; keep warm.

    2. Season ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder; form 4 equal patties.

    3. Cook patties in a hot skillet or grill pan 4–5 minutes per side; top with cheese to melt.

    4. Lightly toast the burger buns until golden for structure.

    5. Prep lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion; set out sauces.

    6. Layer bottom bun with lettuce, patty, tomato, pickles, and onion; add sauces to taste.

    7. Cap with the top bun, then slide 3–4 fries into each side to form spider legs.

    8. Attach two olive halves on top with a dab of ketchup (or toothpicks) for spooky eyes.

    9. Serve immediately with remaining fries on the side.
