1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt together and set aside.
3. In a separate bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
4. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until a soft dough forms.
6. Fold in most of the M&M candies, reserving some for decoration.
7. Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto prepared sheets and flatten slightly.
8. Press candy eyes and reserved M&Ms onto each cookie.
9. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are golden and centers remain soft.
10. Let cookies cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
