Ingredients
- 12 hot dogs (beef, turkey, or plant-based)
- 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 large egg, beaten with 1 tsp water (optional, for shine)
- 24 candy eyes or dots of mustard/ketchup for eyes
- Ketchup and mustard, for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
2. Unroll crescent dough, pinch seams, and roll to about 1/8 inch thick; cut into thin strips.
3. Pat hot dogs dry. Wrap dough strips around each like bandages, leaving a gap for eyes.
4. Arrange on the baking sheet and brush lightly with egg wash if using.
5. Bake 10–12 minutes, until dough is puffed and golden.
6. Cool 2 minutes. Add candy eyes or dot mustard/ketchup in the gap for eyes.
7. Serve warm with ketchup and mustard for dipping.
