Description

These no-bake bars combine chewy oats, creamy peanut butter, and a rich chocolate layer for a wholesome snack or dessert. Ready in minutes and perfect for meal prep, they require no oven and use simple, natural ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

  • Instructions

    1. Melt peanut butter honey and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl or saucepan until smooth.

    2. Stir the melted mixture until fully combined and glossy.

    3. Pour the mixture over oats in a large bowl and stir until every oat is coated.

    4. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and press the oat mixture firmly and evenly into the pan.

    5. Melt dark chocolate chips with 1 teaspoon of coconut oil until smooth and glossy.

    6. Spread the melted chocolate over the pressed oat layer in an even layer.

    7. Refrigerate or freeze the pan until the bars are firm, about 1 to 2 hours.

    8. Lift the set mixture from the pan using the parchment overhang and cut into 16 bars.
