Description
These colorful candy strawberries and glow apples transform fresh fruit into eye-catching fall desserts. Using melted Jolly Ranchers, simple tools, and glow stick accents, they make perfect treats for bake sales, Halloween parties, or family kitchen fun.
Ingredients
Instructions
1. Wash and dry strawberries and apples thoroughly.
2. Insert a skewer into each berry and apple through the stem end.
3. Line a tray with parchment paper.
4. Place Jolly Ranchers in a saucepan over low heat and stir until melted and smooth, monitoring temperature with a candy thermometer.
5. Holding each strawberry by the skewer, dip into the melted candy and twist to coat evenly, then place on parchment to set.
6. Dip each apple into the candy syrup, allowing excess to drip off before setting on parchment.
7. Let all candy coatings harden for 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature.
8. Attach a glow stick to each apple stick using clear tape or ribbon, just below the fruit.
9. For extra flair, sprinkle edible glitter or add candy eyes before the coating sets.
